Craig M. Edwards’ practice is distinctive for its critical interrogation of the overarching structures that govern and construct contemporary British culture and identity. Heavily influenced by Structuralist and Post-Structuralist thinkers he has recently been concerned with exploring the relationship between the city and the countryside through creating thought provoking pieces that juxtapose urban and rural signs.

Edwards was born in Oxford, United Kingdom, in 1983. Having studied the visual arts at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design and Goldsmiths College he has exhibited across southern England, with group exhibitions at the Mall Galleries (2008), Truman Brewery (2008), Arts Club (2008) and the Village Underground (2006).
